TOB Region 8 Indoor Sound and Announcer Information

Please review the following:

Music

Sound files should now be uploaded through the WINDI portal at the same place you sign up for shows. View a PDF of instructions of how to upload sound files to WINDI here.

AND…

Out of an abundance of caution, Region 8 is asking you to also upload your music using the system we have been using for the past several years. However, you should also have backup music files with you at shows.

Upload your music to the Region 8 system using the following instructions:

Please upload your music files by Thursday at 2 pm prior to a show.

Please name all files using this 3-part format and separate each section with a dash (-)

(1)Group Name (2)ShowName (3)VersionNumber

Example: BigCityHighSchool-BestShowEver-1.mp4

*Version Number allows for uploads of updated music throughout the season

Please also always have a backup options available at shows:

  • CD – Preferred, tried, and true physical CD
  • Digital playing from a device provided by the unit using Bluetooth or .35mm jack

Announcer’s Form

  • Follow this link to download and fill out the Announcer Form. It is available as a fillable PDF file.
    • Bring the printed form with you, or
    • Name the files using this 3-part format Separate each section with a dash (-) and upload it
    • (1.)Group Name (2)ShowName (3)VersionNumber
    • Example: BigCityHighSchool-BestShowEver-1.pdf
    • Version Number allows for uploads of an updated form throughout the season

Upload Music File and Announcer’s Form To Region 8

  • ALL UPLOADS NEED TO BE UPLOADED BY THURSDAY AT 2 PM PRIOR TO A SHOW

Sound Check

  • Sound Checks will be done up until 10 min before start of show and during intermissions only
  • TIA Region 8 is not responsible for corrupt or unplayable files
  • Please always have a physical backup (CD or on a device) with the unit on performance days
